Ingredients

  • Leftover idli– 2 to 3
  • Schezwan Sauce– 2 to 3 tbsp
  • Rice flour –3 tbsp
  • Gram flour- 4 tbsp
  • Asafoetida – ¼ tsp
  • Curry leaves –1 spring [chopped]
  • Coriander leaves– 2 spings [chopped]
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil for deep frying
  • Water as needed [3 to 4 tbsp]

Preparation

  • Cut idli into cubes.
  • In a bowl add idli cubes, schezwan sauce, gram flour, rice flour, salt, coriander leaves, curry leaves, asafoetida, mix well
  • Sprinkle 3 tbsp water, mix well.
  • Heat oil in a pan, sprinkle idli cubes, deep fry till crisp & golden brown on medium hot oil.
  • Once its ready remove from oil & drain on absorbent paper.
  • Serve hot with tea or coffee
